Adolescence is a time of rapid change. Teens experience physical growth, shifting social dynamics, academic pressures, and the development of their identity.
These transitions can bring about anxiety, depression, behavioural issues, and self-esteem challenges. An adolescent psychologist is uniquely trained to support young people through these challenges with age appropriate, evidence-based therapy.
In the first meeting, our adolescent psychologist will get to know your teen’s world, their thoughts, worries, and goals. We will assess their current mental health, ask about their experiences at school and home, and hear from parents about any concerns. Together, we set clear goals and build a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for your adolescent.
